Car rental under 25 in Cyprus
You must be at least 21 years old with a license held for 3 years to rent a car from SIXT. An underage driver fee applies. Some car categories require the driver to be 25.
Driver's License Requirements
Your license must have been valid for 3 years. If it is in a non-Roman alphabet it must be accompanied by an International Driving Permit. Chinese drivers need a translation of their license.

One-way rentals between SIXT stations are allowed for some vehicles. An additional fee may apply.

Quick and painless experience, I rented a VW Golf automatic in great condition. Staff very friendly and polite, absolutely nothing to complain about. Decent prices too. Keep it up !

Quick and smooth experience; their counter is right in front in the arrivals hall at Larnaca.
Staff was very friendly and spoke with a smile. Asked me for the required documents and credit card. They offered me an upgrade which I politely declined. They also offered the extra insurance but I already had one so I declined that as well. The whole transaction was done in about 10 mins.
They mention very clearly at the time of booking regarding the need for a credit card and the excess amount they are going to block - this is standard practice at most rentals. Many bad reviews seem to be from folks who have not read the terms in detail when booking.
Drop-off was pretty smooth too. A quick check of the fuel and a walk around the car - again done in hardly 3 mins. The excess amount blocked was reversed within a week to my credit card.

I have had really incredible experiences each time with Sixt. The staff are very friendly - and I am so grateful to the lovely Cypriot woman who sits at the front of the desk in the airport on the left. I am really impressed by their service, as they try their best to accommodate specific needs.
